Anna Wagner Keichline (Pennsylvania 1889 - 1943) was an American architect and inventor, known for being the first registered female architect in Pennsylvania and for inventing the K-brick in 1927. It was, like most bricks, made out of clay, but it was cheaper, lighter, and had better thermal, acoustic and fire-resistant properties. It could also be filled with insulating materials.
