Emmy Noether was a great German mathematician who stood out for her work in algebra and geometry during the first decades of the 20th century. 

A border is an ornamentation drawing that is placed along walls, pavement, etc. that usually consists of repeated elements of the same ornament. He worked out the symmetry relations in physics in the theorem that bears his name (Noether Theorem).
