Observacions i context
After the declaration of the end of slavery in the U.S. (1865), the struggle for freedom and equality of people was fierce.
Lucy Ann Delaney (1830-1891), also a writer, activist and slave, and the activists Isabella Beecher Hooker (1822-1907) and Susan Look Avery (1817-1915) were prominent in this fight.

In this activity we will use a video in which we are introduced to the figure of Ida B. Wells.
Previously, the students will review vocabulary related to professions and crimes.
They will also locate various cities on the map of the United States.
