ACTIVITY 1: Read one of her most famous quotes and discuss with your partner its meaning. Then, share your ideas with the rest of the class.

ACTIVITY 2 : Why is it important to take care of the environment? What can we do? What do you normally do to be ecofriendly? Discuss in pairs and then share your ideas with the rest of the group.
ACTIVITY 3 : Now that you understand the quote and the importance of taking care of the environment, write 10 rules you can start today in order to preserve and take care of all natural environments.
Use modal verbs of advice and obligation such as should, ought to, must, have to or could. Be creative in the way you present it.

Descripció
Introducción a la actividad de la científica Rachel Carson y análisis de una de sus citas.
Posteriormente el alumnado deberá escribir un decálogo sobre cómo cuidar el medio ambiente utilizando los verbos modales. El objetivo es trabajar estos verbos.
